Amazon EW-Analysis
This chart represents Amazon in its Mid-short term Elliot wave analysis, with our primary expectations for this market.
After completing its green Wave 4 from the long-term cycle, Amazon entered the anticipated target zone, where the stock successfully ended its bearish momentum and began to recover with renewed strength. From that level, Amazon established its first 1–2 structure in light blue, which initiated a powerful impulsive advance. Within this sequence, a clear five-wave internal structure in dark blue unfolded, representing the progression of light-blue Wave 3 — the phase that ultimately led Amazon to reach its all-time high.
Following the completion of light-blue Wave 3, bullish momentum began to fade, and the stock transitioned into a corrective phase, identified as light-blue Wave 4. This corrective wave is expected to unfold as a three-wave A–B–C pattern, a typical structure for a Wave 4 correction.
Amazon has already completed the initial Wave A (downward correction) and the subsequent Wave B (temporary bullish retracement) in orange. The stock is now likely developing its final Wave C, which should bring the correction to completion and finalize light-blue Wave 4. Once this occurs, Amazon is expected to regain upward momentum and begin the final light-blue Wave 5, completing the higher-degree green Wave 5 and thereby concluding the long-term yellow Wave 1.
We have projected a Fibonacci retracement target zone for this ongoing corrective phase, extending from the 38.2% level at 180.80 USD down to the 50% level at 161.79 USD. This zone represents a high-probability area where Wave 4could end and bullish momentum could reemerge to start the next impulsive advance.
Trading Plan:
We recommend exercising patience as long as the market remains above its support level at 207.57 USD (marked in red). A break below this level would confirm that Wave C of the current correction is unfolding and that the price is heading toward our target zone.
Should the market reach this zone between 180.80 USD and 161.79 USD, it would represent a prime buying opportunity, aligning with our long-term bullish outlook. Once Amazon confirms a completed corrective structure within this area, we anticipate a strong recovery phase as the stock transitions into light-blue Wave 5, completing the long-term impulsive sequence.
